This Week is a Wrap, Family!

Well actually, the last two weeks have run together. Last week me and David were in Tampa, working on 40th floor of the Bank of America building. We were selected by the Law Firm, Gray Robinson to outfit their new offices with video conferencing and Door access control for security.

My Garden

Picked out some plants for the summer and planted them in the backyard garden. So far so good. That should look beautiful and full come June.

This week was a little quite but welcome. Monday I spent in the office cleaning up and organizing paperwork. Tuesday was a day I prepped for a job we had on Wednesday back in Tampa. We left the house at 3:30 AM and got back in time to prepare our Passover Meal.

We  had roasted lamb, matza soup, fried matza cakes and bitter herbs with horseradish.

Could I be the Secret Gambler?

We can learn from every situation and from every person. The actions of both Pinchas and the daughters of Zelophehad present an important lesson of boldness in a proper context. Numbers 25:10–30:1 The actions of Pinchas teach us that when we see improper behavior, we shouldn’t just stand by and look away. We must boldly stand up for what is right and confront it, even if it goes against our nature. Like Pinchas, we must be loyal to God and His virtues. Loyalty is a virtue that drives success. The actions of the daughters of Zelophehad teach us that we can boldly stand up for ourselves in a respectful manner. When you feel that you are not being treated fairly, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and try to find a solution to the situation. When you are faced with challenges that demand courage, remember that there is a right time, a right place, and a right context for boldness.
